About the role
Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield is hiring a full-time, 100% remote RN Member Triage nurse for its Clinical Services and Population Health division. You will answer and route member calls, assess needs for community and case-management resources, and close gaps in chronic-condition care. Preference goes to current employees and Arkansas residents.
Responsibilities
- Assess members for community resources, vendor help, and case management services
- Answer and route calls to the Clinical Services and Population Health division, including warm transfers
- Promote communication across channels such as mobile apps
- Act as liaison among members, families, physicians, discharge planners, and home care providers
- Close gaps in chronic-condition care through education and case management, keeping a minimum caseload
- Practice within licensure scope and follow URAC standards and state regulations
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing in each state where duties are performed (Arkansas State Board of Nursing)
- At least 4 years of clinical experience in med-surg, surgical, ICU, or critical care
- BSN preferred; case management certification preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and multiple systems
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
