About the role
Roman Pennsylvania Medical, the provider network affiliated with Ro, is hiring a Virtual Registered Nurse for a six-month temporary full-time contract. You will triage patient messages and adverse-event reports for sexual-health and metabolic-health care, working independently inside Ro's EMR and escalating to providers as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient messages independently, including triage, counseling, and education
- Handle side-effect and efficacy questions for sexual health and metabolic health patients
- Escalate concerns to staff RNs, practitioners, or patient advocates per Ro guidelines
- Route patient queries and adverse-event reports to the right physician, NP, or medical leader
- Review lab results using approved protocols to give weight-management coaching
- Serve as a clinical resource for the non-clinical care team
Requirements
- BSN
- Active, unencumbered Compact nursing license (additional non-compact licenses in AK, CA, DC, HI, IL, MA, MI, MN, NV, NY, or OR are a plus)
- 4 years of clinical RN experience in a fast-paced role
- Strong clinical judgment, clear and empathetic communication, and comfort with tech-enabled workflows
- Willing to work some holidays
