About the role
Centria Autism is hiring a Behavior Technician in Apache Junction, Arizona, to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under a BCBA's direction. No prior ABA experience is required — Centria trains new hires on evidence-based techniques for building communication, social, and daily-living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children on individualized behavior plans
- Apply ABA techniques under the direction of a supervising BCBA
- Teach communication, social, and daily-living skills
- Help reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based methods
- Support the child's family throughout the course of treatment
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and a TB test if not already current
- Must pass a background check
- Physically able to sit, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs
- No prior ABA experience required — full training provided
